About The Position
This entry-level, on-site role prepares products for shipment by verifying, packing, labeling, and staging orders. The position is performed in a store, stockroom, warehouse, distribution center, production facility, or similar physical work environment, with regular face-to-face interaction with customers, coworkers, supervisors, drivers, or other on-site teams as applicable. A typical shift includes inspecting items before packing, choosing appropriate packing materials, sealing and accurately labeling packages, and staging completed packages for outbound processing. A strong entry-level candidate is dependable, comfortable working on their feet, able to communicate clearly, attentive to accuracy and safety, and willing to learn established procedures. Prior experience may be helpful but is not required for many roles when employer training is provided.
