About The Position

At Samsung Austin Semiconductor, the Manufacturing Operations Engineer is responsible for documenting, trending, and sustaining the health of the In/Out Room equipment fleet. The fleet includes automated packaging equipment and accessories such as heaters and N2 pump systems. The role identifies equipment-condition data, organizes trends into real-time health dashboards, and creates processes and expectations for responding to fleet trends. The engineer responds when equipment goes down to recover basic errors and replace parts, and works with vendors on escalations. The position covers equipment expertise, maintenance procedures, fleet-health visibility, engineering reliability, team collaboration, and documentation and reporting. It includes evaluating equipment parameters using statistical process control (SPC), defining specification limits, automating issue escalations, analyzing failures, developing preventive maintenance schedules, leading improvement projects, and maintaining operating documentation and KPI dashboards. All positions at Samsung Austin Semiconductor are full-time and on-site. The current base salary range is $95,000–$120,000. Total compensation includes a competitive benefits package and may include incentive compensation. Employment may be contingent on export-control eligibility or obtaining an applicable export license.
