About The Position

Tactical Revolution, LLC is seeking a hands-on manufacturing leader to lead its textiles and products assembly team and personally manage manufacturing supply chain activities, inventory controls, manufacturing documentation, production scheduling, and quality-control work. The role combines direct employee supervision with manufacturing and industrial engineering process improvement. The manager supervises a team of 3–5 employees and performs technical work, including developing bills of materials and work instructions, converting issued SolidWorks models into technical drawings, and applying GD&T expertise. This is a working-manager position with no subordinate engineers. The work focuses on manufacturing from issued designs and improving production methods; it is not a product design or research and development position. The role requires full-time, on-site work in Jupiter, Florida, and authorization to work in the United States.

Requirements

  • Direct production-supervision experience, including assigning work, managing schedules, training employees, and addressing performance issues; project coordination alone does not qualify.
  • Hands-on experience in manufacturing operations, manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, engineering technology, or technically focused production supervision.
  • Current SolidWorks proficiency, including personally creating technical and shop drawings from issued models.
  • Strong applied GD&T expertise, including interpreting requirements and understanding implications for manufacturing and inspection.
  • Experience creating and maintaining bills of materials, work instructions, manufacturing records, and revision-controlled documentation.
  • Experience managing manufacturing purchases and supplier issues, including quotation review, ordering, receiving discrepancies, acceptance, rejection, and returns.
  • Practical inventory-control experience covering material transactions, physical counts, reconciliation, and movement through production stages.
  • Experience conducting manufacturing inspections and handling nonconforming material, rework, and acceptance decisions within defined authority.
  • Ability to prioritize competing requirements, maintain accurate records, communicate risks early, and follow commitments through completion.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets and business software, and ability to learn purchasing, inventory, and production systems.
  • Ability to work full-time on-site in Jupiter, Florida.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, engineering technology, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience and demonstrated capability will be considered.
  • Experience with technical textiles, industrial sewing operations, tactical equipment, protective products, or mixed-material assembly.
  • Former military service.

Responsibilities

  • Direct a team of 3–5 textiles manufacturing and products assembly employees; assign daily tasks, set priorities, coordinate schedules, and communicate expectations for productivity, quality, and deadlines.
  • Develop daily and weekly production schedules based on staffing, material availability, equipment capabilities, and delivery commitments; monitor progress and resolve bottlenecks.
  • Ensure equipment, materials, workspaces, and manufacturing documentation are ready for production, and communicate status, challenges, and recommended solutions to Operations leadership.
  • Oversee manufacturing suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors; obtain and evaluate quotations, place purchase orders, monitor deliveries, and ensure compliance with specifications, pricing, and schedules.
  • Inspect incoming materials and manufactured components, document discrepancies, and coordinate rejections, disputes, returns, replacements, and corrective actions.
  • Establish and maintain inventory accountability for raw materials, work in process, subassemblies, assemblies, and finished goods; manage transactions, storage, issuing, cycle counts, reconciliation, and replenishment.
  • Create and maintain bills of materials, fabrication work orders, assembly instructions, and standardized production procedures.
  • Convert issued SolidWorks models into manufacturing and shop drawings, apply GD&T, and maintain revision control.
  • Conduct incoming, in-process, and final quality inspections; manage nonconforming products, rejections, approved rework, corrective actions, and acceptance procedures within authorized limits.
  • Coordinate production scheduling, first-article inspections, prototype manufacturing from issued designs, and subcontracted manufacturing activities.
  • Evaluate workflows, labor efficiency, material utilization, equipment capabilities, and bottlenecks; implement improvements that increase productivity and reduce waste while maintaining quality and approved product designs.
  • Train, coach, and cross-train employees; establish performance expectations, quality standards, and individual accountability.
  • Lead daily production meetings covering staffing, materials, assignments, targets, completed output, quality issues, and priorities.
  • Inspect employees’ work, address performance concerns, and ensure adherence to approved manufacturing procedures.
  • Build a team-first culture through disciplined, professional leadership, clear communication, shared accountability, employee input, and continuous improvement.
