About The Position

Aurora is seeking a Manufacturing Hardware Technician to build Aurora hardware according to engineering specifications as part of the Manufacturing team. The work includes end-to-end vehicle integration and up-fitting cars or trucks, as well as assembling subassemblies such as wiring harnesses, computer modules, and other mechanical assemblies. Technicians may build across Aurora platforms, work with ESD-sensitive electronics and exposed circuit-board assemblies, and perform repairs, rework, and board-level diagnostic isolation. The technician reads engineered drawings and bills of materials, acquires materials, maintains tooling, and follows Aurora’s defined practices and training. The role also involves diagnosing vehicle and process problems, documenting repair findings and actions in ticketing systems, and escalating issues to engineering or management when appropriate. Work areas must be kept clean, organized, and safe. Aurora expects employees to work in person at least three days per week; some roles may require up to five days per week based on operational needs.
