About The Position

Bulmann Dock & Lift is seeking a dependable, motivated Manufacturing General Laborer to join its production team in Boyne City, Michigan. The role supports fabrication and assembly of aluminum components used in dock and boat lift systems. The company is looking for someone who is mechanically inclined, attentive to detail, and willing to learn. Previous manufacturing experience is helpful but not required. The position includes hands-on production tasks, operation of manufacturing equipment, inspection and assembly work, and material handling. The employee will help maintain a clean and safe work area, follow safety procedures, and coordinate with supervisors and team members to meet daily production goals. Basic communication and coordination use Microsoft Teams and other company software.

Requirements

Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools.
Ability to follow work instructions and learn new manufacturing processes.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Dependability, a positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Ability to frequently bend, kneel, squat, reach, and lift.
Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment while wearing required protective equipment.

Nice To Haves

Previous manufacturing or aluminum fabrication experience.
Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

Cut, drill, bend, and deburr aluminum components according to production requirements.
Operate saws, drills, shears, and other manufacturing equipment.
Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
Assist with assembly of docks, boat lifts, and related components.
Load, move, and organize materials throughout the production process.
Perform general manufacturing and labor tasks as assigned.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Follow established safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment.
Work with supervisors and team members to meet daily production goals.
Use Microsoft Teams and other company software for basic communication and coordination.
