About The Position

Work as part of a team supporting a manufacturing operation, with the goal of increasing productivity and decreasing downtime and waste. Take an active role in plant and facilities-related work and assist with jobs on the plant floor. Follow company safety rules and lock-out/tag-out procedures, and maintain the shop and shop equipment according to 5S standards. The position may require stacking parts weighing up to 30 pounds for periods of up to 12 hours. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED.
• Passion for maintaining a safe work environment.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Willingness to work first or second shift.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Willingness to work closely with other production personnel on a day-to-day basis.
• Ability to share ideas to solve important problems.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a cross-functional team environment.
• Sense of urgency in reducing machine downtime.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple requests simultaneously.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of experience working in an industrial setting.
• Experience in packaging or another manufacturing environment.
• Understanding that temperatures and work volumes may vary.
