About The Position

Jered, a PAR Systems Company and leader in engineered solutions for naval and maritime systems, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes, systems, and operational capabilities across the organization. In this role, you will provide leadership and direction to the Manufacturing Engineering team while supporting production through process optimization, automation initiatives, tooling improvements, and capital projects. Success in this role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate cross functionally to improve efficiency, quality, safety, and overall manufacturing performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required
  • 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving abilities
  • Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing operations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced manufacturing environment
  • U.S. Person

Nice To Haves

  • Previous leadership or people management experience preferred
  • Experience supporting fabrication, machining, welding, assembly, or heavy manufacturing environments preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes, systems, and operational capabilities.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the Manufacturing Engineering team.
  • Support production through process optimization, automation initiatives, tooling improvements, and capital projects.
  • Collaborate cross functionally to improve efficiency, quality, safety, and overall manufacturing performance.
  • Maintain accurate and timely billing processes.
  • Ensure invoices are submitted in accordance with contract terms.
  • Maintain organized and compliant billing documentation.
  • Proactively communicate with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Support month end reconciliation activities.
  • Contribute to process improvements.
  • Support cross functional collaboration.
  • Help maintain workflow continuity across the department.
