Manufacturing Associate - Pallet Repair
About The Position
As a Pallet Repairer, you will build and repair wooden pallets from freshly cut or recycled wood to fulfill customer needs. This is a piece-rate, production-based position where earnings vary with the number of pallets repaired. The listed pay range is $17.00–$25.00 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., at 2174 Quarry Rd, Gray Court, SC 29645. 48forty Solutions describes itself as the largest pallet management services company in North America, providing pallet supply, retrieval, on-site services, reverse logistics, and packaging materials. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to regularly lift wooden pallets weighing about 50 pounds.
- Quick hands, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, or roofing work is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Receive wood from the saw shop and assemble it with a nail gun along set stringers.
- Stack finished pallets by hand for forklift operators to move to the appropriate areas.
- Follow company procedures to ensure safety for yourself and others.
- Maintain high quality standards while producing a high volume of finished goods.
