About The Position

Work with the Continuous Improvement Team to provide statistical analysis support and mentoring to employees. Support the Information Technology group with data structure and interface planning. Use statistical analysis tools such as SAS, JMP, Minitab, R, Python, and Power BI to identify correlations, optimizations and improve organizational understanding of pertinent subject matters. Provide and coordinate data analytics training. Develop and test new analytic approaches and applications within Howmet. Support yield improvement activities with advanced data analytics at Howmet facilities globally. Work closely with diverse technical teams on process improvement and development efforts.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or Statistics
Employee must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

2 years of experience in analytics post-graduation
Hands on experience and proven success in manipulating and applying advanced statistical analysis methods to real world data
In-depth knowledge of statistical software packages and advanced analytics software packages and advanced analytics techniques

Responsibilities

Provide statistical analysis support and mentoring to employees.
