About The Position

This position assists the Receiving Supervisor with receiving tasks and helps ensure HACCP standards are maintained and enforced. The role checks that required documentation is gathered and reviewed and that safety practices are followed in the receiving dock area. It also assists production supervisors, through the Receiving Supervisor, with resolving discrepancies in facility raw-material inventory. When the Receiving Supervisor is absent, the position ensures orders are entered correctly into the computer and bills of lading are submitted at the end of the shift. The role may occasionally move trailers in and out of dock doors when needed. Team members are HACCP trained and able to receive incoming raw material when the rest of the team is not on shift.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent experience.
Raw receiving and/or material-handling experience.
Forklift experience.
Basic computer skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to lift up to 85 pounds on an ongoing basis.
Internal candidates must have zero written warnings or suspensions in the last 6 months and fewer than 4 attendance points at the time of application.
Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Assist the Receiving Supervisor with receiving tasks.
