Cox Enterprises•Dallas, TX
•$15 - $27•Remote

About The Position

The Mobile Inspector conducts on-site vehicle condition inspections for dealer clients in an assigned territory. The role documents vehicle condition accurately, thoroughly, and promptly according to Manheim inspection standards, supporting client trust, marketplace transparency, and inventory flow. Inspectors build dealer relationships, represent Cox Automotive, and engage clients to grow participation in Manheim mobile inspection services. The position involves working with minimal supervision and using increasing independence, sound judgment, and problem-solving skills. Candidates may be hired as a Level 1, Level 2, or Senior Level Mobile Inspector based on experience, qualifications, and business need. Duties and qualifications vary by level: Level 1 inspectors learn established processes and standards; Level 2 inspectors independently manage inspection work and support territory growth; Senior Level inspectors perform advanced inspections, mentor peers, and serve as resources on inspection standards and best practices. The role is remote in the sense that inspectors can work away from a company site, but candidates must live in the specified city, state, or region. Inspectors travel among dealer locations within their assigned territory and use their personal vehicle for business, with reimbursement provided. The role has a day shift and hourly pay ranges that vary by level. Monthly performance incentives are based on inspection volume, with guaranteed incentives during the first three full months as described in the posting.
