About The Position

Ernst & Young U.S. LLP is hiring a Manager for its Consulting – Technology Consulting – SAP Supply Chain Management OTC Engineering & Systems Integration practice in Chicago, Illinois. The role provides clients with a business perspective on using SAP technology to improve operations and delivers end-to-end project implementation solutions enabled by SAP products. It advises on the strategy, design, configuration, and implementation of SAP ERP packages for manufacturing execution solutions that improve supply-chain efficiency. The position uses established methodologies, tools, and accelerators to support program implementation and technical integration, drawing on a collaborative, business-led, process-based, technology-enabled approach. Services include program management, assessments and reviews, data management, and the end-to-end application development lifecycle. The Manager leads and motivates teams with varied skills and backgrounds, monitors progress to deliver quality client services, demonstrates technical and professional expertise, maintains long-term client relationships and networks, and cultivates business development opportunities. The role requires travel up to 80%, including up to 20% international travel, to serve client needs. Employment is full-time, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The position follows EY’s hybrid model; client-serving employees are expected to work in person 40–60% of the time over an engagement, project, or year.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Accounting, Finance, Operations, or a related field, plus 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate work experience; alternatively, a master’s degree in one of those fields plus 4 years of work experience. A suitable combination of education, training, or experience will be accepted.
At least 4 years of experience providing external and/or internal consulting services in the strategy, design, configuration, and implementation of end-to-end SAP solutions.
At least 4 years of experience with SAP SD and/or SAP OTC, including pricing.
At least 1 year of project management experience, including scope, timing, resource allocation, and performance.
At least 4 years of experience translating business requirements into IT solutions, including gathering business and technical requirements, solution design and build, testing, and deployment.
At least 3 years of experience leading SAP workshops and client-facing presentations.
At least 1 year of experience managing teams of technology professionals.
Must qualify as a “United States worker” as defined by U.S. Department of Labor regulations at 20 CFR 656.3.
