About The Position

The Youth Programs Manager leads the development, delivery, and ongoing improvement of environmental education, youth leadership, and conservation engagement programs at the Seward Park Audubon Center in Seattle, Washington. The position is based on-site at the Seward Park Audubon Center, which is located within 277 acres of old-growth forest and has 2.5 miles of shoreline. The Center serves students, families, and teens from South Seattle schools and community organizations, an area noted for its linguistic and cultural diversity. Its programming connects people with the natural world and offers opportunities to protect it. The manager develops place-based K–12 education, youth engagement pathways, partnerships, and program operations. The role supervises and trains seasonal staff, interns, volunteers, and youth leaders; coordinates participation logistics; manages budgets and evaluation systems; and represents the Center and Audubon Washington in community settings.
