About The Position

MSC Cruises is expanding its Human Resources department in Miami, FL and is hiring a Manager, Total Rewards. This role is responsible for leading and enhancing MSC Cruises’ Total Rewards strategy across North America, with a focus on compensation, benefits, engagement, wellness, and talent initiatives that support a high-performing and inclusive workforce. Reporting to the Director, HR Operations, this role partners closely with HR leadership, Finance, Legal, Payroll, and business leaders to ensure competitive, scalable, and employee-centric programs aligned with organizational goals and company culture. This is a hybrid position requiring 4 days per week in the office, in Miami.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive HR or Total Rewards experience, with demonstrated depth in compensation and benefits administration.
  • Strong knowledge of compensation practices, market benchmarking methodologies, and benefits administration.
  • Knowledge of employee engagement, wellness, and talent management practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Experience managing multiple programs and priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and reporting tools (ADP and/or SuccessFactors preferred).
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven with a strong customer service mindset.
  • US Passport or US Permanent Resident

Responsibilities

  • Lead the administration and execution of compensation programs, including salary structures, market benchmarking, annual merit cycles, incentive plans, and pay governance.
  • Partner with leadership and Finance on compensation strategy, budgeting, workforce planning, and executive compensation support.
  • Support the development and maintenance of compensation philosophy, ensuring programs remain competitive, equitable, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Conduct market pricing and compensation analyses to support hiring, promotions, organizational design, and retention strategies.
  • Manage employee benefits programs and holistic benefit administration, including vendor coordination, enrollments, and employee communications.
  • Evaluate and recommend enhancements to benefits offerings to improve employee experience, market competitiveness, and cost effectiveness.
  • Lead health and wellness initiatives focused on employee wellbeing, engagement, and preventative care programs.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to drive wellness campaigns, participation initiatives, and education efforts.
  • Manage employee engagement initiatives, including internal events, recognition programs, and culture-building activities that enhance the employee experience.
  • Oversee employee engagement surveys, including administration, reporting, action planning, and leadership insights.
  • Support talent management initiatives, including performance review process administration, calibration support, and performance cycle coordination.
  • Develop and maintain Total Rewards reporting, dashboards, and analytics to support leadership decision-making and workforce insights.
  • Ensure Total Rewards programs and practices remain compliant with applicable laws and regulations while maintaining operational excellence and process consistency.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to HR Business Partners and leadership on compensation, benefits, engagement, and employee experience matters.
  • Manage day-to-day compensation operations, including job architecture, salary administration, incentive processes, and pay cycle execution.
  • Support annual compensation planning cycles, merit reviews, and market benchmarking.
  • Partner with Finance and leadership on budgeting, modeling, and compensation governance.
  • Ensure compensation practices are compliant, competitive, and consistently applied.
