About The Position

The Manager, Technology Operations leads the planning, execution, and oversight of multiple complex technology projects aligned with strategic objectives. The team is dedicated to delivering affordable, highly discounted labels to marketplace sellers who fulfill orders independently. By leveraging financial management, stakeholder communication, and data analysis, the team ensures operational efficiency and accountability. Their focus includes risk assessment, resource planning, and continuous monitoring to maintain program health. Collaborating across functions, they drive results that support marketplace sellers’ success while maintaining cost-effective operations and fostering a culture of excellence and integrity.

Requirements

  • Proven expertise in program and project management, including planning, estimation, monitoring, and control of medium to high-complexity technology initiatives.
  • Strong financial management skills with experience in budgeting, cost monitoring, and governance to ensure project success.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and influencing abilities to build consensus and drive alignment across cross-functional teams.
  • Solid understanding of business operations, KPIs, and technology landscape to align projects with organizational strategy.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing teams, fostering accountability, and promoting continuous improvement and learning.
  • Proficient in data analysis and organizational strategy to support decision-making and operational excellence.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, industrial engineering, engineering management, business, information systems, project/program management, information technology, finance, management, or related area and 3 years’ experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area.
  • 5 years’ experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area.

  • Master’s degree in computer science, management information systems, industrial engineering, engineering management, business, information systems, project/program management, information technology, finance, management, or related area.
  • Background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
  • Knowledge of accessibility best practices and joining the company as they continue to create accessible products and services following Walmart’s accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture.

Responsibilities

  • Define and manage multiple medium to high-complexity technology projects aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Develop and maintain accountability matrices, assigning responsibilities and milestones for program modules.
  • Assess resource requirements and identify risks, implementing corrective actions to ensure project success.
  • Monitor project progress against schedules and budgets, leading cross-functional meetings to address issues and dependencies.
  • Communicate program status and financial performance to stakeholders through structured reporting.
  • Build consensus among teams and stakeholders by presenting data-driven recommendations and facilitating collaboration.
  • Support continuous improvement by promoting adaptability and leveraging new tools and methodologies.
