About The Position

Beveridge & Diamond, PC, the foremost national corporate environmental law firm, is seeking a Manager, Talent Operations. The Manager, Talent Operations serves as a strategic operations lead for the Talent function, driving cross-functional coordination, operational excellence, process and systems improvements, and internal communications across the team and firm.   • Bachelor’s degree in related field required, advanced degree preferred.
  • At least 5+ years experience in program development, project management with a focus on leveraging technology and analytics to improve employee lifecycle processes.
  • Demonstrated passion for HR systems and innovation, with a solid understanding of process improvement, change management, and talent project management principles.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Public speaking and meeting facilitation skills.
  • Ability to build strong and trusting relationships at all levels across the Firm.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate support for talent systems and operations, process optimization, change management, reporting, vendor management, and team communications.
  • Administer and maintain talent platforms and related systems, including employee data management, organizational structures, workflows, security roles, and system configuration updates.
  • Responsible for improving how the overall Talent team operates by streamlining systems and processes, managing complex projects, facilitating communication and alignment across stakeholders, and ensuring operational priorities are executed effectively.
  • Oversee HR systems, data integrity, reporting, and workflow efficiency in partnership with IT, Payroll, and Finance.
  • Establish and improve HR processes, procedures, and service standards to support consistency, compliance, and a positive employee experience.
  • Monitor and analyze HR metrics such as headcount, turnover, leave activity, and compensation changes, and provide actionable insights to leadership.
  • Manage and mentor direct reports, fostering an environment of professional growth and operational excellence.
  • Lead internal communications planning and execution for the Talent function, ensuring consistent, clear, and timely messaging across the team and broader firm.
  • Serve as a central coordination point across the Talent team including Operations, Talent Development, Recruiting and HR and to align priorities, improve information flow, and drive collaboration on firmwide initiatives.
  • Engage in cross-departmental collaboration to support the Firm’s overall talent objectives.
  • Collaborate with team on goal setting and project planning with a focus on digital adaptation management.
  • Manage the financial stewardship of the Talent Department by developing, evaluating, and forecasting the budget, incorporating monthly reconciliation to ensure fiscal responsibility and strategic allocation of resources in line with the Firm’s priorities.
  • Lead business process analysis, solution evaluation, and vendor management with a focus on integrating seamless technological and automation solutions.
  • Evaluate solutions against requirements, manage vendors, negotiate contracts, manage costs, reduce vendor-related risk, and ensure service delivery.
  • Leverage data analytics for informed decision-making and continuous improvement of talent strategies.
  • Contribute to the firm’s diversity and inclusion efforts by ensuring that talent management practices encourage a diverse and competitive workforce, including by working in collaboration with the DEI Senior Coordinator on reporting metrics.
  • Perform data analysis to measure project outcomes and ROI, providing insights to guide future initiatives.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending new opportunities for innovation in legal practice.
