About The Position

The Manager, Talent Attraction & Onboarding leads the implementation of strategies and practices in Talent Attraction (i.e., attracting, recruiting, and retaining talent) and Onboarding, ensuring a desired Candidate Experience and Employee First Impression aligned with Fenton’s Cultures and Values.

Requirements

  • Leads full-cycle recruiting processes that deliver timely, quality hires and reflect a consistent, culture-aligned candidate experience.
  • Partners with hiring managers to clarify role expectations, assess team needs, and incorporate market insights, creating alignment and enabling the quality and timeliness of hiring decisions.
  • Leverages insights from internal talent, candidate pipelines, and forecasted positions to guide hiring priorities and align recruiting strategies with current and future business needs.
  • Improves recruiting systems and tools to increase effectiveness & efficiency, reduce time-to-fill, and support a scalable hiring model that meets evolving company needs.
  • Builds strong, consultative partnerships with leaders and guides decision-making around both internal and external candidates through collaborative discussions focused on the right person, for the right role, with the right approach.
  • Coaches and trains hiring managers on interview, selection, and new hire onboarding practices to ensure confident, informed hiring decisions and smooth transitions from recruitment to hire.
  • Maintains strong internal and external networks and leverages industry trends to strengthen recruiting approaches, keeping the Company’s recruiting practices current, competitive, and aligned with how top candidates engage in the job market.
  • Understands first-year experience data, including performance trends, turnover and exit feedback, to identify improvements to hiring and onboarding practices.
  • Oversees and evaluates the quality and consistency of New Hire Orientation and Culture Enrichment, ensuring smooth logistics, presenter preparedness, and achievement of key onboarding objectives.
  • Leads the 90-Day performance review process for new hires and employees transitioning into new roles - supporting leaders in preparing for and conducting meaningful review conversations and partnering with the Director of ELT Operations & Performance as needed to support timely feedback and alignment with performance expectations.
  • Leads the development and coordination of onboarding plans for new hires, partnering with leaders to define the outcomes the employee is expected to achieve during onboarding and shaping a learning approach that supports the employee in building the knowledge, skills, and context needed to meet those outcomes.
  • Continuously evaluates new hire onboarding processes and leverages technology and feedback to enhance efficiency, scalability, and consistency across the onboarding experience.
  • Motivates, develops, and leads an empowered, high-performing team through clear outcomes and expectations, ensuring team priorities support the Balance of Success.
  • Models the Company’s culture and Values through leadership actions, decision-making, and communication, reinforcing a cohesive, values-aligned employee experience.
  • Applies foundational tools (PI and SSL) to provide the appropriate level of direction and support based on individual and team needs, building engagement and capability.
  • Ensures team resources are efficiently utilized and developed in a manner that supports the Company’s growth goals and objectives.
  • Effectively uses communication and technology to drive efficiency and effectiveness, while fostering a connected, culture-aligned employee experience.
  • Establish and understand key responsibility areas, with agreement from the Supervisor/Manager.
  • Establish and obtain agreement on annual goals.
  • Conduct regular One-on-One meetings with Supervisor/Manager.
