About The Position

Reporting to the Director, Talent Acquisition and Human Resources, the Manager, Talent Acquisition, is responsible for the overall performance of the recruitment function, in a context combining volume and corporate recruitment. They ensure the management, mobilization and development of a team of 5 people, while actively contributing to the recruitment of strategic corporate positions.

Requirements

  • An academic background in human resources combined with a minimum of 10 years of experience in mixed recruitment (corporate and volume).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in team management.
  • Recognized for their communication skills, customer service oriented and able to influence decisions.
  • Ability to navigate between leadership, operations and strategy.
  • Structured, results-oriented approach and candidate experience.
  • Bilingualism (French and English) oral and written to recruit in unilingual English-speaking provinces.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and develop a multidisciplinary talent acquisition team.
  • Lead the performance of the function (priorities, capacity, indicators, quality of hires).
  • Conduct the 360° recruitment cycle for strategic, specialized and leadership positions.
  • Supervise and support the recruitment of volume in the warehouse, especially during peak periods.
  • Optimize and evolve talent acquisition processes and practices.
  • Act as a strategic partner to managers and contribute to the influence of the employer brand.
  • Staying on top of the latest trends and evolving the practice.
