Siemens Healthineers
•$179,740 - $247,148

About The Position

The Manager of Subsystem Engineering leads the Beam Generation & Monitoring (BGM) Subsystem Engineering team, which serves as the technical integrator for the Radiation Producing subsystem in complex radiation therapy products. The team is responsible for subsystem architecture and integration, servo-control algorithms, requirements and specifications, verification and validation, structured problem solving, technical project execution, and lifecycle stewardship. The role provides cross-functional technical leadership across engineering, manufacturing, quality, service, supply chain, product groups, and external suppliers in a regulated product-development environment. The successful candidate combines engineering expertise with the ability to lead technical teams, coordinate cross-functional activities, and drive execution. The position requires knowledge of servo-control algorithms, microwave engineering, radiation physics, high-voltage pulsed-power engineering, thermal and materials science, and electrical and mechanical design, supported by hands-on system-level design, troubleshooting, and structured problem-solving experience. Experience delivering products in a regulated environment and familiarity with product lifecycle management are also required. The position is with Siemens Healthineers, a medical technology company with more than 72,000 employees in more than 70 countries. The stated base pay range is $179,740–$247,148. Benefits, subject to applicable eligibility requirements, include medical, dental and vision insurance; a 401(k) retirement plan; life and short- and long-term disability insurance; paid parking or public transportation; paid time off; and paid sick and safe time. A successful candidate must be able to work with controlled technology in accordance with U.S. export control law.
