About The Position

Turn/River Capital is a private equity firm that partners with software businesses to drive AI transformation and catalyze capital-efficient growth. Founded in 2012 and based in San Francisco, the firm has $5.6 billion in committed capital and invests globally, with a focus on North America and Europe. The Manager, Strategic Finance will serve as the analytical partner for a portfolio company, working with Investment and Operating Leads to investigate revenue questions and deliver evidence-based recommendations. The role is part of a pod with a Data Analytics Lead, who owns the portfolio company relationship, and a platform team that builds data pipelines. The Manager owns the analysis, dashboards, recommendations, and their revenue impact. This is a hands-on building role involving analysis of retention and cohorts, pricing and packaging, pipeline and funnel yield, and revenue sources. The Manager works directly with raw data, uses SQL, BI tools, and AI agents, and turns findings into actionable recommendations with quantified revenue impact, clear ownership, and next steps. The role also supports new deals and add-ons and converts recurring analyses into reusable templates or tools.
