About The Position

Triumvirate Environmental is hiring a Manager, Strategic Finance to own analysis supporting acquisition performance, pricing and margin, capital allocation, and sponsor value-creation reporting as the company expands organically and through acquisitions. Reporting to the VP of Financial Planning & Analysis, the role executes strategic finance workstreams based on priorities set by the VP, while the VP retains accountability for final priorities, budget approval, headcount, and company-wide forecast assumptions. The Manager regularly interfaces with the CFO, the CTrO’s M&A team, the CRO, operating leaders, and the private equity sponsor, and provides day-to-day direction and review for one analyst. The work combines project-based strategic analysis with ongoing finance reporting and dashboards. The Manager builds models, analyzes large financial and operational data sets, and presents findings to senior and sponsor audiences. The role owns finance-specific reporting and dashboards, while partnering with the IT data organization, which owns enterprise dashboards and data architecture. The position is fully onsite for the first 90 days; afterward, it follows a hybrid schedule approved by the manager and Human Resources. Immediate priorities include delivering a validated pricing opportunity assessment and an initial price-volume-mix analysis; establishing a process for deal-model tracking and acquisition synergy and integration tracking; agreeing strategic workstream priorities and decision rights with the VP; taking ownership of finance-specific Power BI reporting and validating it against the source of truth; and identifying and addressing data inconsistencies between Oracle Fusion and Excel models while delivering accurate analysis. Triumvirate Environmental provides compliance-management services to organizations in higher education, life sciences, healthcare, and advanced manufacturing. The company describes its culture as focused on growth, development, education, creativity, and delivering a positive experience for employees and customers.

  • Expert-level Excel financial modeling, including deal and investment-case models, driver-based forecasts, EBITDA bridges, and scenario analysis.
  • Hands-on SQL or Python and Power BI, or a comparable BI tool, for extracting, validating, analyzing, and presenting large, complex data sets.
  • Experience using applied AI tools to accelerate analysis and automate recurring work.
  • Experience working with ERP-sourced financial data and reconciling it to reporting and analysis.
  • Ability to deliver work in environments with data limitations or system constraints while resolving underlying issues in parallel.
  • Ability to translate analysis into clear recommendations for non-financial stakeholders at GM, C-suite, and board levels.
  • Strong prioritization judgment and deadline discipline within priorities set by leadership.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

  • Partner with the CRO and commercial leaders on customer profitability and revenue-quality analysis, including cross-sell and wallet-share opportunities.
  • Build investment cases for new markets, capacity, and capital projects, and track results against approved cases.

  • Maintain the sponsor value-creation view and supporting analysis.
  • Deliver scenario and sensitivity analysis for strategic decisions involving pricing, capacity, M&A, and capital allocation.
