About The Position

Parallel is a web infrastructure company whose products help businesses build AI agents through programmatic access to the web. The company has raised $230 million and is valued at $2 billion. In this role, you will build financial models that inform major company decisions. Working closely with the strategic finance lead, you will own key parts of the company model, headcount plan, and scenario analysis, and prepare analysis for board materials. Your work will span pricing, unit economics, compute costs, and company metrics, translating findings into clear recommendations. You will gather and clean data from multiple sources and build reporting that leadership uses to make decisions about hiring, pricing, and spending. You will collaborate across finance, go-to-market, and engineering, with scope expected to grow as you demonstrate ownership. The team works fully in person between Parallel’s Palo Alto headquarters and San Francisco office. Requirements

A few years of experience in a high-rigor role such as banking, consulting, private equity, or strategic finance at a high-growth company.
Experience building financial models from first principles and defending model assumptions.
Ability and willingness to retrieve and work with raw data independently.
Ability to turn complex or messy analysis into concise, actionable communication for people outside finance.
Use of AI tools to work more efficiently.
Demonstrated ownership, early communication of problems, and interest in eventually leading strategic finance.
