About The Position

Strategic Link Consulting (SLC) is seeking a QA leader who thrives at the intersection of financial precision and cutting-edge automation. SLC is a fast-growing Fintech powerhouse in Metro Atlanta, looking for a Software QA Manager who builds first-class quality ecosystems. This role is for a visionary, not just a gatekeeper. You will lead a global, multi-tiered team to ensure financial platforms are bulletproof, scalable, and fast. The ideal candidate is a master of orchestration with a track record of elevating QA from a department to a strategic advantage.

Requirements

  • Subject matter expert in Orchestration: JIRA, Confluence, Zephyr.
  • Subject matter expert in Automation: Selenium, TestNG, Maven, Jenkins.
  • Subject matter expert in Environment: API testing (Postman) and SQL.
  • Organizational Mastery: Ability to juggle the demands of a regular release cycle without losing track of a single edge case.
  • Leadership Presence: Proven ability to upskill junior testers and hold offshore partners to the highest standard of quality.
  • Fintech Mindset: Understanding that in finance, even small glitches have large monetary impacts, bringing a rigorous, detail-oriented approach to data integrity and test validation.

  • 5+ years in Software Quality Assurance, with at least 2+ years in a formal leadership/management role.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent "battle-tested" experience).
  • Proven experience managing offshore resources effectively.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint Outlook Exchange.

  • Previous experience in Fintech, Banking, or highly regulated environments.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and mentor a diverse team of QA Testers across multiple time zones (Onshore, Nearshore, and Offshore), ensuring teams are synchronized and performance is high.
  • Champion the transition to a "test-early, test-often" culture and oversee the development of robust, scalable automation frameworks using Selenium, TestNG, and Maven, leveraging Jenkins for seamless automated testing integration into every sprint.
  • Lead the creation of comprehensive training paths, test plans, and strategy documents, emphasizing the importance of documentation in Fintech.
  • Utilize JIRA for workflow optimization, bottleneck identification, and transparent reporting to stakeholders.
  • Function as the primary liaison between Product Development and Product Delivery teams, translating technical requirements into plain English for non-technical leadership.
