Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or related field preferred
Minimum 2 years of working experience in relevant field
Experience testing within a technical development environment on complex business applications.
Experience with UNIX and Shell scripting
Expert level proficiency with Jira a big plus
Must be able to use SQL Developer or equivalent SQL Query tool.
Familiarity with Jira or other bug reporting system
Ability to work effectively both independently and as a team member
Ability to take initiative and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a drive for learning and taking on new challenges.
Must possess valid documentation to establish identity and U.S. employment eligibility – no sponsorship for employment is available for this position.
Submission to, and ability to pass, a thorough pre-employment background check by the required State or District Lottery and Intralot, Inc. is a requirement of employment. A pre-employment drug screening is also a requirement.

Nice To Haves

Automation testing with selenium will be considered a plus.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders on software projects
Execute in-depth software testing, tracks issues and determine if system requirements have been met
Document test cases, test results, and release notes
Support User Acceptance Testing and provide assistance as needed
Provide on-call production support for software releases and hot fixes
Other duties as assigned.
