About The Position

The Manager, Supply Chain Operations oversees key areas critical to smooth operations. The role promotes GXO’s values by supporting an engaged workforce, loyal customers, and efficient operations. The schedule is Wednesday through Saturday, 5:30 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. The manager works with customers, vendors, team members, and supervisors to meet commitments and maintain quality and safety standards.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, and computerized scanner equipment.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends.
• Ability to lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights; stand, sit, or walk for extended periods; reach, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat, and kneel; and tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field.
• 4 years of managerial or supervisory experience.
• Experience in an AS9100 or ISO environment.
• Knowledge and experience in Lean, Six Sigma, and Continuous Process Improvement.
• Experience in warehousing or Third-Party Logistics (3PL).
• Ability to maintain a safe work environment by monitoring and enforcing safety procedures across all departments.
• Strong problem-solving techniques and statistical analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers, vendors, and team members to ensure customer commitments are met.
• Understand GXO’s quality policies and establish procedures for maintaining quality objectives.
• Guide supervisors on personnel, quality, and safety matters.
• Hire, train, develop, and appraise staff.
• Recommend programs to improve operations.
• Handle equipment and coordinate maintenance needs with the maintenance team.
• Maintain appropriate records and complete reports in a timely manner.
• Adhere to and enforce safe work practices and ensure warehouse compliance with OSHA and other applicable standards and regulations.
