In this dynamic role, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the sales strategy, optimizing sales operations, and driving effective go-to-market initiatives at Aerospike. Collaborating closely with the sales team, executives, and cross-functional teams, you will develop and execute strategic plans to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and maximize customer success. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, data-driven problem solver, and possesses a deep understanding of sales operations, go-to-market strategies, and technology.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with business objectives and drives revenue growth.
- Define and refine go-to-market strategies, including target markets, customer segments, pricing models, and competitive positioning.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights to identify new opportunities and shape effective sales strategies.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to develop and optimize sales processes, methodologies, and performance metrics to drive sales productivity and efficiency.
- Analyze sales data and metrics to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement, providing actionable insights to enhance sales performance.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and finance teams to align strategies and initiatives that support the go-to-market strategy and drive revenue growth.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and refine sales enablement materials, including presentations, playbooks, and sales collateral.
- Monitor and report on key sales metrics, KPIs, and performance indicators, providing regular updates and insights to stakeholders.
- Drive sales forecasting and pipeline management processes to ensure accurate revenue projections and effective resource allocation.
- Implement and optimize sales tools, technologies, and CRM systems to streamline sales operations, enhance sales team effectiveness, and improve customer experience.
- Provide training, coaching, and support to sales representatives on sales processes, value proposition, and effective go-to-market strategies.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities and potential partnerships.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus)
- Proven experience in sales strategy development, sales operations, and go-to-market strategies
- Strong understanding of technology and its application in sales
- Ability to analyze sales data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Experience in conducting market research, competitive analysis, and customer insights
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work closely with cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Familiarity with sales enablement materials and tools
- Proficiency in sales forecasting and pipeline management
- Knowledge of CRM systems and sales technologies
- Ability to provide training, coaching, and support to sales representatives
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.
