About the position
We are seeking a Senior/Staff/Principal Engineer to develop a comprehensive set of management tools for our distributed database. This role will involve creating tools to monitor, manage, and administer clusters, users, and security. The ideal candidate should have experience with enterprise-level monitoring and management technologies, as well as a background in building systems at scale using modern tools. Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, NodeJS, or Golang are also required.
Responsibilities
- Implement a complete set of management tools for operating the distributed database at scale in the enterprise
- Develop tools to monitor, manage, and administer the clusters, users, and security
- Deliver a frictionless management tool to fit within leading enterprise IT environments on-premises and in the cloud
- Be familiar with technologies used for enterprise-level monitoring and management
- Have experience in building systems at scale with modern tools
- Possess skills in any programming language like Python/Java/NodeJS/Golang
- Have a minimum of 5+ years of experience for Senior Software Engineer, 8+ years for Staff Software Engineer, and 12+ years for Principal Software Engineer/Architect
