Reporting to the Executive Director, the Manager, Raymond James Canada Foundation (RJCF), is responsible for providing leadership and operational oversight for Raymond James Ltd.’s workplace giving programs including employee‑led giving, donation matching, volunteering, fundraising, and other signature corporate responsibility programs. The Manager plays a critical role in advancing RJCF’s mission to strengthen communities across Canada, while fostering a strong internal culture of philanthropy and engagement with Raymond James Ltd.’s advisors and associates. This position oversees program development, execution excellence, impact measurement, internal & external relationships & communications, and the continuous improvement of RJCF processes, programs and initiatives. The ideal candidate is a strategic, collaborative leader who is passionate about employee activation, community engagement, highly organized and adept at managing complex programs. This is a permanent, full‑time position based in Raymond James Ltd.’s downtown Vancouver office, with a hybrid workstyle of weekly in‑office and remote work.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership presence with demonstrated ability to guide strategic initiatives and influence interest holders and community partners
  • Excellent relationship‑building skills and ability to work effectively across departments and organizational levels
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills, including the ability to inspire employee engagement and deliver impactful presentations
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment while meeting tight deadlines
  • Experience coordinating or implementing new technologies, including change‑management support
  • Strong judgment, discretion, and ability to manage confidential information
  • High attention to detail and commitment to program excellence
  • Post‑secondary degree in Corporate Social Responsibility, Non‑profit Management, Business, Communications, Marketing, Finance or a related discipline
  • 7+ years of experience in corporate social responsibility, community investment, philanthropy, employee & volunteer engagement and program & event management
  • Experience developing and implementing communication strategies, including digital and social media
  • Familiarity with ESG (environmental, social & governance) frameworks, impact measurement, and Canadian regulatory requirements for charitable giving
  • Experience with volunteer‑management or social good platforms

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with or within Canadian charities, foundations, or Indigenous communities
  • Familiarity with AKA Raisin, Swoogo, or similar tools
  • Proficiency with design software (Canva, InDesign, Photoshop)
  • Bilingual French/English

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of RJCF’s national employee giving initiatives, including employee-led giving, granting, donation matching, volunteering, fundraising and other RJCF signature programs
  • Develop annual program plans, timelines, KPIs, and reporting frameworks to ensure alignment with RJCF’s mission and corporate priorities
  • Monitor emerging trends, opportunities, and community needs to strengthen and evolve RJCF program offerings
  • Manage the end‑to‑end administration and execution of all RJCF workplace giving programs, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery
  • Manage workflows for grants, gift letters, stale‑dated cheque follow‑ups, and record‑keeping across all major initiatives (e.g., Annual Giving Campaign, Disaster Relief, RJ Cares, Advisory Committee grants, RJ Memorial Fund, RJ 5K 4 Kids, National Inclusion Council employee resource group related campaigns, and other ad hoc programs)
  • Accountable for ensuring all programs and grants meet legal, financial, and regulatory requirements in Canada (e.g., CRA guidelines for registered charities and qualified doners)
  • Responsible for streamlining and improving operational processes to ensure efficiency, scalability, and strong service levels
  • Responsible for leading the collection, analysis, and interpretation of program data, identifying trends, outcomes, and opportunities for improvement
  • Develop dashboards and regular reports for leadership, highlighting progress, participation, community impact, and program insights
  • Provide data‑driven recommendations to support decision‑making and operational enhancements
  • Represent RJCF internally and externally with credibility, professionalism, and passion for community impact
  • Act as a senior liaison to internal constituents including the Advisory Committee, Board of Directors, Branch Managers, and cross‑functional teams
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with charity partners and community organizations to create impactful giving and volunteer opportunities
  • Develop and oversee internal communications to promote giving campaigns, volunteer opportunities, and program successes—across RJNET, email, newsletters, and internal platforms
  • Collaborate with Corporate Communications on external storytelling and visibility, including social media content, news stories, and LinkedIn posts
  • Provide leadership, oversight and execution of special events such as the Raymond James Memorial golf tournament. Accountabilities include sponsorship, logistics, registration, auction, fundraising, and day‑of operations
  • Manage vendor relationships and oversee user adoption through strong user engagement and change‑management practices
  • Contribute to the evaluation, selection, and implementation of social good, volunteer‑management, and donor‑management technologies
  • Ensure systems are optimized to support efficient tracking, reporting, and program administration
  • Partner with Finance to oversee accurate grant issuing, donation processing, reconciliations, and program‑related financial activities
  • Prepare materials and presentations for the Advisory Committee and leadership meetings; oversee minute‑taking as required
  • Review and distribute charitable tax receipts to ensure compliance and accuracy
  • Promote Raymond James’ culture of giving and help cultivate an environment of engagement, inclusion, shared purpose and commitment to community impact
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to RJCF team members & ambassadors, program contributors, and cross‑functional volunteers
