Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Sector is seeking an experienced Manager, Project Management 2 to join our team of qualified individuals within our Program Management Office. This position will be located at Oklahoma City, OK. Please note that this opportunity is contingent on program funding. Start dates are determined after funding confirmation. The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels. This role is a vital member of the leadership team, which by nature of the position involves high-level contacts and exposure to sensitive programs, new business, personnel, and technical information necessitating considerable use of tact, diplomacy, discretion, and judgment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of related experience as defined below, OR a Master’s degree and 6 years of related experience as defined below
  • Related experience includes professional and/or military experience to include a background in project management, program management, engineering, capture efforts, and/or business management related functions.
  • Prior leadership experience
  • Knowledge & experience measuring performance using EVMS processes and reporting EVMS metrics
  • Your ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated U.S. government Secret clearance (must be in-scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation) and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the Company

Responsibilities

  • Oversees and manages operations as a member of the Sustainment team to include the establishment and ongoing maintenance of the overall strategic rhythm to create a productive management cadence that ensures the visibility of our critical development per plan.
  • Drives a horizontal and vertical integration action between the IPTs to ensure the health of our people, processes and tools are being addressed in our programs.
  • Ensures risks, issues and critical actions are being addressed down into the organization.
  • Includes active participation and facilitation of program management, Corporate, and Division reviews.
  • Will also entail special assignments on areas of critical importance to include, but not limited to staffing assessment and visibility metrics, employee engagement survey analysis and coordinated action plan development, operational efficiency, etc.
  • Responsible for direct line of leadership for a team of project management personnel to include performance management, staffing, career development/planning and engagement.
