About The Position

The Boeing Company is seeking a Project Management Specialist 2-2 in Heath, Ohio, to support project management for the ICBM MMIII Test Equipment Roadmap. The position manages cost, schedule, and technical aspects of more than 20 test equipment overhaul projects supporting repair of Minuteman-III guidance systems. The work is performed at Boeing’s Heath location and uses a standard gated process, with approximately 30 engineers and a budget of about $30 million per year. The test equipment is in service but requires overhaul because of obsolete processes and parts associated with MMIII guidance. After overhaul, the project team coordinates with facilities, engineering, and operations on procedures, installation instructions, and testing. The role supports a U.S. Air Force customer and a mission intended to maintain reliable weapon-system performance through 2050. The position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance, for which U.S. citizenship is required; an interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance is required after starting. Applicants must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense, as relocation assistance is not negotiable. Boeing does not sponsor employment visas. This is not a safety-sensitive position and is not contingent upon program award. The role is Shift 1.
