With a strong focus on reliability, scalability, and strategic expansion, we build systems that support immersive experiences and unlock new opportunities for growth. Disney Cruise Line – This role is on the Disney Cruise Line technology team, which delivers shipboard Guest and Crew systems, commercial platforms, web and app experiences, and infrastructure operations that support seamless journeys at sea.

Requirements

  • 8+ years combined business and digital experience
  • Leader of a team being able to set a clear vision and drive accountability to meet their goals
  • Served as the lead on small to medium digital and technology projects, including evaluating and improving estimates, scope, and plans
  • Experience with technical, user and business issues in a digital organization.
  • Identify and articulate the impact of the latest industry trends on our business.
  • Work collaboratively across large matrixed organizations
  • Experience collaborating with and achieving applicable results through others and the capability to interact within all levels
  • Ability to coach, mentor, educate, and handle conflict management/negotiations
  • Experience with Agile software development methodology

  • Creates data driven strategies by staying abreast of the latest business and market trends while also monitoring guest behavior through analytics and consumer testing to track KPI’s.

Responsibilities

  • Leading a team of product managers responsible for defining the product strategy, creating outcome-based roadmaps and developing requirements.
  • Leading external vendor teams to deliver products.
  • Providing product and scorecard updates to business and technology leadership.
  • Negotiating through blockers.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with technology and business leaders to establish commercial strategies using technology to drive the business.
  • Serve as part of squad on larger projects, assisting with their successful completion.
  • Serve as a business facing contact for cross-functional partners on the Disney Cruise Line business.
  • Collaborate with other Disney Experiences Technology teams to ensure alignment with product standards.
  • Stay abreast of the latest technological trends to find strategic opportunities to use innovation to solve business problems.
  • It is key for this leader to have a holistic understanding of how to use product management models and technology to create an exceptional guest experience, support business operations and optimize Cast in a financially constrained and rapidly changing environment.
