About The Position

The Manager Office Operations and Case Management, within the Institute Discrimination and Harassment Response Office, serves as the Institute’s case management specialist for complaints of discrimination or harassment. This role involves meeting with impacted individuals to ensure they understand available resources, reporting options, and resolution pathways, considering their desired outcomes and community safety needs. The Manager will document allegations and next steps, facilitate supportive measures, make appropriate referrals, and coordinate resources for informal resolutions. This position also involves supervising staff on the Case Management Team, being a member of the Office’s leadership team, and collaborating with the Director and other managers in strategic decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., student affairs, higher education administration, social work, psychology).
  • A minimum of five years of relevant professional experience, preferably in case management, civil rights compliance, or investigations.
  • Experience exercising discretion and sound judgment in rapidly changing circumstances.
  • Demonstrated ability to build respectful relationships with others in a diverse community of students, staff, and faculty.
  • Ability to take initiative and organize, prioritize, and carry out detailed work under time constraints.
