About The Position

Rogers Group, Inc., headquartered in Nashville, is a privately held aggregates and asphalt highway construction company operating in 13 states with over 3,500 employees. RGI, established in 1908, has the distinction of being recognized as the largest privately held aggregate producer in the United States. Rogers Group is currently seeking a Manager of Talent Acquisition and EEO in the Nashville, TN area. This is a premier talent acquisition manager role that interacts with all levels of the organization. Working remotely is provided one day per week. This position will report directly to the Human Resources Director.

Requirements

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Exposure to industries such as mining, construction or manufacturing preferred.
  • Oracle Recruiting Cloud applicant tracking and Oracle EBS/HCM-HR/Payroll experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead recruiting of salaried positions across 13 states and 5 product lines (mining, highway construction, asphalt production, ready mix concrete and trucking).
  • Typical volume is 25 open salaried positions.
  • Partner with hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies, understand workforce needs, and provide guidance throughout the hiring process.
  • Source, screen, and interview candidates using LinkedIn, Indeed, and other recruiting resources.
  • Work with internet recruiting sources (LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.), executive recruiters and placement agencies to ensure a pool of the best available candidates.
  • Support division recruiters and human resource coordinators to identify and execute recruiting strategies to fill hourly positions.
  • Educate division recruiters and human resource coordinators and hiring managers on best hiring practices (interviewing techniques, market rates of pay, benefits, etc.).
  • Assist regional recruiters and human resource coordinators in meeting or exceeding minority and female hiring requirements.
  • Update and submit annual Federal and State reporting for minority and female utilization (EEO-1, VETS, OFCCP, etc.).
  • Update and administer annual Affirmative Action Plans.
  • Educate all managers on the OFCCP 16 Required Action Steps to ensure construction contract compliance.
