About The Position

Vernon Health is seeking a Manager of Obstetrics to lead the daily operations of our Obstetrics department and ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centered care. This leadership opportunity is ideal for a Registered Nurse with strong clinical expertise, team leadership skills, and a commitment to excellence in women's health services. As the Manager of Obstetrics, you will oversee department operations, staffing, budgeting, quality improvement initiatives, patient safety programs, and workforce development. You will lead a collaborative team environment that promotes professional growth, clinical excellence, and exceptional patient experiences throughout the childbirth journey. Working closely with physicians, clinical staff, and hospital leadership, you will drive best practices, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements

• Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license and CPR certification required.
• BSN required within two years of hire.
• Minimum three years of RN experience.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and team development skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Obstetrics staff recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and performance management.
