About The Position
We are seeking a Board Certified Obstetrics & Gynecology physician for a Locum Tenens position in Cadillac, Michigan. This role involves providing independent OB/GYN call coverage in a rural hospital setting, including managing routine and emergent obstetrical care, such as vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections. The physician will perform comprehensive inpatient women’s health services with minimal supervision and handle obstetric emergencies. Collaboration with on-call support staff and documentation using Oracle EMR are also key aspects of this position. The coverage period is ASAP and ongoing, with a 24-hour call schedule (7a-7a) and a 1:5 beeper call ratio. Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance are covered.
Requirements
- Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Active Michigan License at Time of Submission
- Active DEA Registration
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, EFM, NRP certifications
- Broad scope OB/GYN experience including routine deliveries, C-sections, and obstetric emergencies in a rural setting
- Clean malpractice history (NO EXCEPTIONS)
