About The Position

This is a locum tenens position for an Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician in Owosso, MI. The role involves providing 24-hour call coverage for labor and delivery and OB/GYN emergencies. Responsibilities include managing inpatient obstetrical care, performing Dilation and Curettage (D&C) procedures, and handling phone triage for OB/GYN patients. The physician will also respond to emergency department OB/GYN consultations. This is an inpatient service setting with call-only coverage.

Requirements

• Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Active Michigan License
• Active DEA Certification
• BLS certification
• Fellowship training
• Labor and delivery experience
• Phone triage experience
• Ability to perform D&C procedures
• Hospital Privileges Required

Nice To Haves

• Clean background and license history preferred
• Minimal malpractice settlements case-by-case review

Responsibilities
