About The Position

Scene+ is Canada's lifestyle loyalty program with over 15 million members, a joint venture of Cineplex, Empire, and Scotiabank. It operates with the energy of a startup and the support of three iconic Canadian companies, currently with over 100 team members and growing. The Manager, Marketing and Partnerships will report to the Account Director and play a critical role in driving the strategic objectives of a financial institution partnership within the Scene+ loyalty program. This involves account management and strategic planning, supporting the Account Director with Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), developing data-driven insights for account planning, tracking and reporting on key KPIs, and overseeing project and meeting management. The role ensures the seamless integration of the key account’s business objectives into operational initiatives to enhance member experience and achieve measurable results. This is a full-time, hybrid role, requiring three days per week on-site at the Toronto office.

Requirements

  • Experience in strategic account or partnerships management, ideally within loyalty or financial institutions.
  • A track record of monitoring performance KPIs, producing data-driven reports, and delivering actionable recommendations.
  • Ability to thrive in collaborative partnerships, empowering clients with insights, resources, and strategies that achieve business outcomes.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple initiatives.
  • Ability to oversee complex projects from planning through delivery, identifying gaps, solving problems, and adapting to shifting priorities while ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
  • Exceptional communication and strong collaboration skills.
  • Ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and engage diverse stakeholders to move projects forward effectively.
  • Proficiency at building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to navigate challenges, mediate discussions, and influence decisions with confidence and diplomacy.
  • A consultative approach, ensuring trust and alignment at all levels.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and dashboard navigation tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Knowledge of how to leverage data-driven insights and segmentation to meet account KPIs.
  • Ability to translate complex performance data into meaningful, actionable steps.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with key stakeholders at the partner organization and establish yourself as a trusted, strategic resource who can think critically and present deeper insights.
  • Collaborate closely with the Account Director and cross-functional teams, including the Data Analytics, Marketing and Operations teams, to design and execute programs that deliver on business goals.
  • Monitor performance and track KPIs for a key strategic account within Scene+ using dashboards, reporting tools, and analytics.
  • Identify market trends, competitive movement, and growth opportunities.
  • Present actionable insights and recommendations that inform strategic account planning and development.
  • Support with the preparation and delivery of QBRs, integrating KPI progress, strategic insights, and cross-functional updates.
  • Gather input from internal teams, manage timelines, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Provide clear findings, actionable recommendations, and follow-up plans to support informed decision-making with external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate external and internal meetings, establishing clear agendas, tracking progress, and distributing meeting notes.
  • Oversee project timelines, gather feedback, and ensure alignment on action plans and deliverables to ensure effective project management.
