About The Position
The Logistics Manager plans, directs, and coordinates the transportation and logistics of materials and products. This on-site role supports High Performance Doors, under the Dynaco, Albany, and TKO brand names, at the Kenosha, Wisconsin facility. The position manages internal material movement and day-to-day shipping and receiving operations, oversees carrier relationships and freight matters, and directly supervises Shipping, Receiving, and Material Handler team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- At least 6 years of relevant experience and academic preparation, or at least 10 years of experience in Logistics or a related field in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- At least 2 years of functional leadership experience as a supervisor.
- Experience working with integrated computer programs and/or applications.
- Proficiency in ERP systems.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a relevant field.
- 5–7+ years of intermediate-level ERP (JDE) experience.
Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, and coordinate transportation and logistics for materials and products.
- Manage all inbound and outbound internal material movement.
- Oversee day-to-day receiving and shipping operations.
- Manage relationships with freight carriers and manage PP and PPA freight.
- Coordinate daily shipping activities.
- Manage disputes between freight carriers and end users.
- Directly supervise Shipping, Receiving, and Material Handler team members.
