About The Position

STERIS is seeking a strategic, customer-focused leader to oversee STERIS University, its global learning platform. The Manager, Learning Technology is responsible for the vision, governance, and operational excellence of the learning technology ecosystem, ensuring it supports business growth, learner engagement, and organizational effectiveness. The position leads a team of learning technology professionals and works with stakeholders across the organization to deliver scalable, innovative, and data-driven learning solutions. The role leads the strategy, administration, and continuous improvement of STERIS University and related technologies; oversees platform operations and partnerships; drives learner adoption and support; and leads analytics and strategic initiatives such as platform upgrades, new capabilities, automation, and global expansion.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of professional experience.
At least 3 years of experience administering enterprise learning technologies and Learning Management Systems (LMS), including expertise in platform administration, reporting, governance, vendor management, system integrations, and technology improvement initiatives.
Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional business teams to gather requirements, improve processes, deliver technology solutions, and support organizational objectives.
Subject matter expertise in Docebo LMS, learning technologies, and digital learning platforms.
Understanding of software integrations, APIs, Single Sign-On (SSO), identity management, and data exchange processes.
Experience leading learning technologies, LMS, or digital learning platforms.
Strong expertise in platform administration, governance, reporting, system integrations, and technology-enabled learning solutions.
Proven success managing complex projects, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholder relationships.
Ability to influence and collaborate across organizational levels and translate business needs into technology solutions.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and change management skills.
Experience leading and developing teams while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Nice To Haves

Degree in Learning & Development, Software Development, IT, or Business.
Proficiency in front-end web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with the ability to configure, customize, troubleshoot, and optimize learner-facing experiences and web-based learning environments.

Responsibilities

Lead the strategy, administration, and continuous improvement of STERIS University and related learning technologies.
Partner with leaders in Clinical Education, Commercial, Marketing, Customer Experience, Product Management, and IT to identify business needs and implement technology solutions.
Oversee platform governance, vendor management, system enhancements, integrations, security, compliance, and user access.
Drive adoption and effectiveness through training, change management, learner support processes, and stakeholder engagement.
Lead reporting and analytics on learner engagement, platform performance, content utilization, and business impact.
Manage and execute strategic initiatives, including platform upgrades, new capabilities, automation opportunities, and global expansion.
Develop and lead a high-performing team that delivers support, operational excellence, and continuous innovation.
