About The Position

ICON is a global healthcare intelligence and clinical research organisation working to bring new medicines and treatments to patients faster. The Manager, Laboratory Project Management coordinates clinical laboratory operations delivery, resolves issues, and develops team capability. The role manages the daily activities of the project management team, supports client satisfaction, and helps improve processes to meet business and client needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as life sciences or healthcare.
• Previous project management experience in a laboratory or clinical research setting.
• Strong leadership skills, including the ability to mentor and coach team members effectively.
• Excellent communication and interaction skills, including the ability to act as a primary escalation point for clients.
• Willingness to travel as required, approximately 20%.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily activities of the project management team, as directed by the Director, PM.
• Act as the client's primary escalation point for matters regarding ICON Central Laboratories' services and ensure client satisfaction.
• Oversee, manage, mentor, and coach direct reports.
• Adhere to and exemplify ICON's values, centered on commitment to people, clients, and performance.
• Promote process improvement by streamlining processes, adding business value, and meeting client needs.
