Manager IT Operations
About The Position
Directs daily information systems activities and associated equipment. Leads the implementation and maintenance of enterprise-wide system tools and ensures scalability. Implements and maintains operating policies to mitigate risk. Manages projects of varying size and complexity. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for reporting teams, and develops budgets, policies, and procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Requires deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. Hospital-based leaders may have a dual matrixed reporting structure. This is a 1.0 FTE, day-shift position with a Monday–Friday schedule at MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital. The hospital is a 226-bed, not-for-profit facility serving the Yakima Valley, with a multispecialty team across more than 20 primary and specialty care locations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field.
- Three years of IT supervisory or management experience.
- Ten years of progressive IT experience.
Nice To Haves
- ITIL Certification preferred.
