Humana

About The Position

Lead a team of Insurance Product Managers providing quality, validation, testing and delivery support across regional Medicare Advantage portfolios. The team operates as a shared service to regional Product Management teams, establishing consistent standards and disciplined execution throughout the Medicare Advantage product lifecycle. The role translates priorities into workplans, allocates resources, monitors quality and delivery, and helps resolve issues before they affect filings, implementation or the member experience. It partners with Senior Product Managers and functional teams to ensure product decisions are reflected accurately in CMS filings, member materials, systems and operational processes. This hands-on people leadership role develops talent, builds structure, improves processes and fosters quality and accountability. The manager leads shared-service operations, oversees product validation and delivery, maintains compliance controls and audit readiness, and uses data and root-cause analysis to improve performance. The role reports to the Associate Director or Director, Insurance Product Management, leads Insurance Product Managers, and partners with Senior Product Managers, regional portfolio teams, Compliance, Operations, Marketing, Claims and other functional teams. The work follows the annual Medicare Advantage and CMS regulatory cycle. Some periods require additional flexibility, including extended hours and occasional weekend work, to meet regulatory and business deadlines. This is a remote position with occasional travel to Humana offices for training or meetings. Home-based employees need a dedicated workspace that protects member PHI/HIPAA information and internet service with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speed.
