About The Position

The Manager-In-Training (MIT) completes a training program under the supervision of a Store Manager and learns to manage, direct, and supervise a store’s daily operations. The MIT helps maintain a pleasant and courteous environment for customers and team members in accordance with United Pacific goals, policies, and procedures. Employees receive direct supervision within the framework of well-defined company policies and procedures. On-the-job training is provided by the Store Manager and/or District Manager before the MIT transitions into a Store Manager role.

This is a full-time position. The role requires flexibility to work varying shifts, including overnight shifts and holidays, and may involve working in small spaces depending on the location.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a supervisor, lead, or assistant manager in a retail or fast-food environment.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid and infraction-free driver's license.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to provide proof of authorization to work in the United States if hired.
• Flexible to work varying shifts, including overnight shifts and holidays.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for at least 8 hours.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 20 pounds from ground to overhead for up to 30 minutes of the workday.
• Ability to occasionally push and pull with the arms using up to 20 pounds of force, such as when using a hand truck.
• Ability to occasionally climb a ladder to store or retrieve materials and/or place or remove signage.
• Comfort working in small spaces at some locations.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
