About The Position

The Manager-In-Training (MIT) completes a training program under the supervision of the Store Manager and learns to manage, direct, and supervise the store’s daily operations. The MIT maintains a pleasant and courteous environment for customers and team members in accordance with United Pacific goals, policies, and procedures. The position receives direct supervision within well-defined company policies and procedures. On-the-job training is provided by the Store Manager and/or District Manager before the MIT transitions into a Store Manager role.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience as a supervisor, lead, or assistant manager in a retail or fast-food environment.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must have a valid, infraction-free driver’s license.
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Must provide proof of authorization to work in the United States if hired.
Flexible to work varying shifts, including overnight shifts and holidays.
Ability to stand and/or walk for at least 8 hours.
Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 20 pounds from ground to overhead for up to 30 minutes of the workday.
Ability to occasionally push and pull with arms using up to 20 pounds of force, such as when using a hand truck.
Ability to occasionally climb a ladder to store or retrieve materials and/or place or remove signage.
Comfort working in small spaces at some locations.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
