About The Position

Waves Express Car Wash is hiring a Manager-in-Training (MIT) with a development path toward becoming an Assistant Manager. The role offers training and hands-on experience in car wash operations while working alongside an experienced management team. MITs support the Site Manager, help lead the team, provide customer service, learn daily site operations, promote Wash Club memberships, support team development, and help maintain facility standards. No previous management experience is required; the company provides training to help develop candidates into leaders. The position involves working at any of the company’s five Upstate South Carolina locations, and interviews are held at the corporate office in Powdersville, South Carolina.

Requirements

• Flexible schedule, including availability to work some weekends.
• Willingness to travel between any of the five Upstate South Carolina locations.
• Ability to work in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.
• No previous management experience required.

Responsibilities

• Support the Site Manager, help lead the team, and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
• Create welcoming customer experiences and help resolve customer concerns professionally.
• Assist with inventory, equipment maintenance, opening and closing procedures, and overall site operations.
• Promote Wash Club memberships, communicate their value to customers, and help the team achieve sales goals.
• Lead by example, encourage accountability, and help team members improve their performance.
• Follow company policies and help ensure the facility remains clean, safe, organized, and operates efficiently.
