About The Position

The Manager in Training provides store-level leadership and helps train and supervise store teammates. The role supports smooth and efficient store operations by overseeing computer-based and on-the-job training and upholding attendance, safety, and uniform policies. The manager may attend or conduct store safety and policy meetings. The position also oversees store financial performance, team development, scheduling, guest service, and upkeep of the building, equipment, and grounds. Requirements

At least 3 years of retail management experience.
Experience with and a record of driving results for a profit and loss center.
Ability to motivate and inspire teammates.
Ability to communicate effectively with guests and at all levels within the organization.
Willingness and ability to comply with relevant regulatory and compliance standards.

Automotive experience.

Responsibilities

Provide store-level leadership through coaching, training, scheduling, and performance management.
Manage store financial health through sales, inventory and cash controls, store-level marketing, guest satisfaction, and full Profit & Loss responsibility.
Recruit, interview, develop, and retain teammates.
Create teammate work schedules to ensure appropriate coverage and meet business needs.
Set an example for exceptional guest service and resolve guest complaints appropriately.
Ensure the building, equipment, and grounds are well maintained.
Oversee computer-based and on-the-job training.
Uphold attendance, safety, and uniform standards.
Attend or conduct store safety and policy meetings.
Comply with relevant regulatory and compliance standards.
Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
