About The Position
The Manager in Training provides store-level leadership and oversees the training and supervision of store teammates. The role involves computer-based and on-the-job training, enforcing attendance, safety, and uniform standards, and attending or conducting store safety and policy meetings. The manager helps ensure smooth and efficient store operations while building and developing the team. The position is responsible for the store’s financial health, including sales, inventory and cash controls, store-level marketing, guest satisfaction, and full profit and loss responsibility. It also includes recruiting, interviewing, retention, scheduling, performance management, resolving guest complaints, and maintaining the building, equipment, and grounds. Requirements
- At least 3 years of retail management experience.
- Experience with and a demonstrated ability to drive results for a profit and loss center.
- Ability to motivate and inspire teammates.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and at all levels of the organization.
- Willingness and ability to comply with relevant regulatory and compliance standards.
Nice To Haves
- Automotive experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide store-level leadership through coaching, training, scheduling, and performance management.

- Create teammate work schedules that provide appropriate coverage and meet business needs.
- Set an example for exceptional guest service and appropriately resolve guest complaints.
- Ensure the building, equipment, and grounds are well maintained.
- Comply with relevant regulatory and compliance standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
