This role leads process improvement initiatives within a Distribution Center, utilizing tools like 5S, root cause analysis, Six Sigma, and time and motion studies to eliminate losses according to the Network Process Structure and Walmart Performance System (WPS) programs. The position involves analyzing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), creating standard work to reduce process variation, and managing savings projects. The Manager II will also assist with reviewing process improvement projects owned by area managers, applying new network One Best Way playbooks, and providing input to Divisional Focused Improvement Teams. Additionally, this role supports the tactical deployment of the WPS program methodology, manages project execution for top losses, and helps build the capability of other managers and associates. It involves supporting area loss profile analysis, performance metrics, and gap analysis for WPS integration. The role also requires coordinating and overseeing job-related activities by developing stakeholder relationships, supporting initiatives, identifying improvement opportunities, and demonstrating adaptability. Supervision and development of associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, and promoting a sense of belonging, are key aspects. Ensuring compliance with company policies and supporting the company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity are also critical.
