This position leads process improvement initiatives within a Distribution Center, focusing on eliminating losses and improving efficiency. The role involves applying various process improvement tools and methods, analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs), and developing standard work to reduce process variation. The Manager II will also assist with process improvement projects, implement new network playbooks, and contribute to project ideation and replication. A key aspect of the role is leading savings projects by identifying and eliminating process losses, while also promoting company policies and values. The position supports the deployment of the Walmart Performance System (WPS) methodology, manages project execution, and builds improvement capabilities among managers and associates. Additionally, the role involves supporting loss profile analysis, developing gap analyses for WPS integration, and assisting Department Managers with WPS programs, projects, associate engagement, and KPI improvements. The role also includes coordinating job-related activities, developing stakeholder relationships, supporting business plans, identifying goals, building accountability, and promoting continuous learning. Finally, the position involves providing supervision and development opportunities for associates, ensuring compliance with company policies, and promoting a culture of belonging and integrity.
