About The Position

The Senior Manager, ERP AI Engineering leads the forward deployment of AI-enabled ERP capabilities across SAP S/4HANA and connected platforms. The role translates business process intent into secure, reliable, and scalable solutions using SAP Business AI, Joule, AI agents, process intelligence, observability, and governed automation. Working closely with SAP functional, engineering, and support teams, the leader drives deployment readiness, release execution, controls, monitoring, incident prevention, and self-healing operations across critical functions including PTP, OTC, DTC, and FICO. The role advances autonomous ERP operations while ensuring responsible AI usage, production reliability, measurable operational improvement, and controlled execution for business-critical processes.

The position leads the design, deployment, and support of AI-enabled SAP automation and agentic workflows across SAP S/4HANA and connected platforms. It architects scalable solutions, translates business requirements into technical designs and production-ready solutions, and builds reusable AI agent frameworks with governance, guardrails, human-in-the-loop controls, and autonomous execution capabilities. The role also troubleshoots and optimizes AI-driven processes and establishes monitoring, auditability, performance metrics, exception management, and continuous improvement practices. It ensures compliance with security, privacy, SOX, responsible AI, and enterprise governance standards, while leading global engineering teams and driving release readiness, production stability, stakeholder communication, and delivery excellence.

Requirements

• 12–15+ years of SAP technology experience with S/4HANA, deployment engineering, and enterprise automation.
• Deep expertise in SAP Business AI, Joule, SAP AI Core, SAP BTP, Integration Suite, RAG, AI Agents, and intelligent automation.
• Proven experience designing, deploying, and supporting AI-enabled SAP solutions and agent-driven business processes.
• Strong understanding of SAP business processes including FICO, OTC, PTP, sales, billing, and financial postings.
• Experience leading production support, incident management, release governance, observability, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Hands-on troubleshooting across AI agents, integrations, workflows, interfaces, and enterprise SAP platforms.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and delivery governance skills, with experience leading global teams.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
